Training as part of strategic personnel development

We are convinced that needs-driven development of competencies of all staff forms the basis for innovation and growth of the BÜFA Group. That is why training of management, staff and trainees constitutes an essential component of our corporate principles and company philosophy.

The demand for training is also a result of strategic personnel development. In regular reviews work performance is discussed, potentials are analysed, target agreements are reached and training sessions agreed.

The objective is to make staff and company viable for the future. Training is therefore oriented closely to needs and enjoys high acceptance among our staff. This is because it secures the competitiveness of the Büfa Group, maintaining and improving the employability of our entire workforce.

That is why preserving our high operational qualification level is one of our most important management tasks. As a strategic partner of the management board, the personnel department in close consultation with the works council requires and promotes not only technical qualifications but above all development of methodological, social and personal skills and competencies.

To translate this into practice we build on a sustainable mix of internal and external training offerings, achieving high synergetic effects especially with in-house events. Subject-specific seminars form part of this programme, as do workshops, training sessions, individual coaching and encouraging part-time courses of study.
